Mei draws its shape from the paper lanterns of a Japanese teahouse. A softly fluted glass shade, capped in wood, glows warm and even from every angle. The vertical ribbing diffuses the light, so there is no visible bulb and no hot spot, just a steady lantern-like glow.
The shade is ribbed glass with a solid wood cap. It comes in a tall cylinder or a rounder dome lantern, each in small or large. The light source is LED, and it runs on 110V–240V.
